The exhibition “Strange Encounters” is inspired by unexpected nighttime encounters with animals in urban spaces. Through mixed media, recordings, storytelling and installations, the exhibition questions and brings forward our collective interpretation and memories of such encounters. Moreover, the exhibition showcases the human and more-than-human perception of those night time experiences.

When do the borders between humans and more-than-human beings fade? Could our urban spaces encourage interspecies collaboration and safer spaces?

The tour will be guided by exhibition "Strange Encounters" curators Hildegard Reimann and Liina Lember.

Entrance with the museum ticket. Gathering 11 AM at the ticket office of Estonian National Museum.
