The world is created by tales and guided by stories (Mikk Sarv)
On the early spring Saturday of 7 March 2020, Estonian National Museum will host an event that is inspired by twilight, stories and music – it is called ERMi ÖÖ. The spectacular atrium of the museum becomes an enchanting fairy-tale world, where primal meets modern and calm meets stormy.
All the artists taking the stage will be performing in the National Museum for the first time and are coming from Estonia, Finland and the United Kingdom. The evening is opened by Ütsiotsõ, then the sensual Princess Yasmyn followed by wacky street musician Jimbino Vegan with his band. Then the enchanting wizard Iiris will caress the audience. The evening will have a stormy end with metal-punk band Winny Puhh taking the stage. Creative energy will flow throughout the evening in the wind, video, lighting and sound.
Diverse artists from magical forests and the mystical underworld enable you to draw a new kind of inspiration and experience an assortment of stories and tales. Let’s meet at the museum’s bridge area (A-entrance) on 7 March at 7 p.m.
Tickets are available from PILETILEVI sales points. NB! The number of tickets is limited!

INTRODUCTION OF THE PERFORMERS
Ütsiotsõ
Ütsiotsõ was brought together in spring 2005 by Urmas Kalla – one of the people most familiar with Southern Estonian songs. Traditional voices and melodies enter your mind and are heard together with heritage and the resulting vocal utopia. Ütsiotsõ has also released an album called Puuĺpäiv (2011). The old language is dear and domestic to them, they also love the emotional tones of stories that can no longer be found in modern music. And so they sing “ütsiotsõ…” – this means ceaselessly, without interruptions.

Yasmyn
Princess Yasmyn’s calming voice grasps you and flows through hazy grooves and calm harmonies. This sound is homely and warm, smoothly pulsating in today’s confused world filled with traps. In harmony with herself and her surroundings, and by mixing modern styles, Yasmyn achieves an intoxicating and pleasant cocktail.

Jimbino Vegan Quintet
Jimbino is a person with extraordinary energy who causes traffic halts at the crossing of Eha and Tähe Street when he comes to Tartu to give a concert in front of the bar Barlova. It doesn’t matter whether Jim is walking on his hands down the stairs of Genialistide Klubi or, among other things, giving a concert on the Barge ‘Jõmmu,’ he will get feet of even the coldest Estonians tapping. So Jimbino Vegan Quintet will be breathing the rhythm of 1930s swing music from England via New Orleans straight into Tartu and the Estonian National Museum.

Iiris
A magical, dreamy and energetic ideal-pop goddess who likes to tell stories or tales with a small element of magic in her songs.

Winny Puhh
Winny Puhh is an Estonian hardcore-punk band – the shock-rockers from Põlva Town. Winny Puhh never performs in the same costume twice. Years of successful music have made these men’s brains even more convoluted because how else could they design such stage costumes that have long since exceeded the limits of reality. Moving closer to the stars... literally, as these striplings like to hoist themselves up to the ceiling with strings.
